Prince Philip is back in hospital, but this time in Scotland. The bladder infection that forced him to miss some of The Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations in June has returned. The Duke of Edinburgh, The Queen and other members of the Royal family have been on holiday up at Balmoral these last few weeks, but yesterday afternoon he was admitted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a 'precautionary measure'. Buckingham Palace issued a statement saying the Duke will stay there for a few days while the condition is investigated and treated.

It's been a tumultuous nine months in regards to poor health for Prince Philip. He spent Christmas in hospital after a small operation to unblock a coronary artery. Then six months later, and just a few days after the Diamond Jubilee River Pageant in June, the Duke ended up spending 5 days in the London's King Edward VII hospital being treated for a bladder infection, but he was discharged just before his 91st birthday.
