Arsenal have received a double injury boost going into the final part of the season with Aaron Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain expected to return and play a part in the run-in that sees the Gunners still with a faint chance of winning the Premier League title. The duo are also in a race to be fit in order to convince their respective managers ahead of the squad selection for the European Championship in France later this year.

Ramsey suffered a thigh injury during Arsenal's FA Cup win over Hull City in the fifth round and has missed the north London's club's last three games against Watford, Barcelona and Everton. He also missed Wales' friendly fixtures against Northern Ireland and Ukraine as they continue their preparations for Euro 2016. The midfielder is expected to return to action before the end of the season, with Arsene Wenger revealing that he could return following the recently concluded international break.

Chris Coleman has made it clear that the Welshman is almost certain to travel to France for this summer's tournament, even if he gets fit a week or two after the end of the season. But the manager has confirmed that the midfielder, who is one of his key players, will be ready before the end of the season.

"So I haven't spoken to Arsene [regarding Ramsey's injury], though I have spoken to Aaron. He's alright when he's playing on the pitch so he's a little bit disappointed at being out," Coleman said, as quoted by Wales Online.

"I don't think he's worried about not making it. It's a muscle injury in the calf and Aaron is a super-fit boy and he's confident about ready. When I spoke with him I didn't get the impression for one moment he feared he might not make it."

Oxlade-Chamberlain, meanwhile, is not expected to return immediately after the international break, as he continues his rehabilitation from a knee injury sustained during Arsenal's last-16 first-leg loss to Barcelona in the Champions League on 23 February. The French coach confirmed that the midfielder will be out for eight to ten weeks but did not require surgery.

The midfielder is also hoping to return for the final run-in of the season in the hope of proving his fitness to England manager Roy Hodgson, who has admitted that he is still in with a shot of making the Three Lions squad for Euro 2016.

"Good days rehab... Feeling stronger every day," Oxlade-Chamberain wrote on his official instagram account, which will be a welcome sign for Wenger, who is without a number of first-team midfielders going into the final eight games of the season.

Good days rehab... Feeling stronger everyday 💪🏽
