Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers said he is proud of his players' performance this season, and that the club will improve next year.

The Reds lead the Premier League table with three games to go, but a defeat to Chelsea and draw with Crystal Palace meant the club missed out on winning a first title in 24 years.

But Rodgers argued that with the objective of Champions League footabll secured, there is now a belief in the side that they can go on to achieve even greater things.
