A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in a house in Essex. Police were called to Old Road in Clacton-on-Sea on Friday (18 December) morning after concerns were raised for the welfare of a resident.
Essex police said Scott Hilling, 25, was arrested in the town on Friday night and has been charged with her murder Sky News reports.
Earlier, police released an image of Hilling in connection with a murder investigation.
Hilling, of no fixed abode, was remanded in custody to appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court on Monday morning.
