The snowstorm is alikely to bring the temperature at many areas to record low, with sub-freezing temperatures expected as far south as the Florida panhandle. As the snow storm is predicted to batter the Northeast until the weekend with bitter cold and strong winds, the National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning.
