Construction activity in the UK has increased for the month of May by 0.3 to 58.5.

The PMI rise was the fastest since September of 2007 when the economy was expanding at a steady rate.

Now, emerging from a financial crisis, the rate is on the rise again.

According to the Markit/Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply survey, any figure above 50 indicates construction growth. The figure has been above 50 since January.
