A day before the US election on Tuesday and Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are on hectic last minute visits to the crucial swing states to sway voters in what is proving to be one of the closest presidential races in recent history.
President Obama is scheduled to make stop-offs today in Madison, Wisconsin; Columbus, Ohio; Des Moines, Iowa; and then on to Chicago. So far polls show an Obama bias in Iowa, Wisconsin and Ohio and if he nails these three states then it will look favourable for the 270 electoral votes he will need for victory. So as they say in sporting terms, it's all still to play for.
Meanwhile Mr Romney will visit Sanford, Florida; Lynchburg, Virginia; Fairfax, Virginia; Columbus, Ohio; Manche . And the state of Pennsylvania has also been put on the map as part of an 11th hour push. But most of the real votes have not been cast yet in spite of early polling, and they won't be until Tuesday.
And with any good race it's always worth a flutter and here in the UK Paddy Power is already paying out on an Obama winning the election.
