South African President Jacob Zuma on 13 February faced increasing pressure from the ruling ANC party to resign, as the government struggled to resolve a leadership crisis that has dragged on since last week. Zuma has had a long and controversial political career, from fighting apartheid with Nelson Mandela to being embroiled in multiple corruption charges and allegations.
