Apple has launched its latest desktop Mac opeating system software - OS X 10.10 Yosemite - and it's available for download as of 16 October, 2014, on all Mac desktops and laptops.
The operating system has an improved interface, a revamped Dock menu bar, 'dark mode' for night-time computer use, a fresh font, and an assortmore of other UI and UX tweaks.
Yosemite is conceived as bringing together its desktop and mobile tech, with the Continuity feature providing groundbreaking new inter-device connectivity.
A new feature called Handoff enables users to seamless move an app between a iPhone or iPad and a Mac desktop, so long as there is a shared iCloud account.
This feature also allows iPhone users to share their mobile connection with a Mac notebook when a Wi-Fi connection is not available.
