The Conservatives would win the most seats at the general election but David Cameron would fail to secure a majority, a poll has suggested.

With just hours left until polling starts, a ComRes poll for the Daily Mail and ITV News puts the Tories three points ahead of Labour with 35%.

The Liberal Democrats were on 9%, Ukip 14%, the Greens 4% and others 6%.

Party leaders are today touring the country looking to sway undecided voters as the country heads towards what is widely tipped to be a hung parliament.
