Google Nexus 9 Finally reaches India, Pricing Details Revealed, Tablet to be Sold via Google play Store
Google Nexus 9 finally reaches India.Google

Internet giant Google's highly expected Nexus 9 tablet, manufactured by Taiwan-based HTC, which was launched 'quietly' on 15 October, has now reached Indian shores.

The good news is that Google's official app repository, the Google Play Store, has listed both the 16GB and 32GB variants of Nexus 9. However, it is unclear as to when Nexus 9 (and Google's high-end Nexus 6) will be released in India.

For the time being, the 16GB internal storage variant of Nexus 9 is listed in Google Play, and is priced at Rs 28,900 (£293, $471.8), whereas the 32GB variant's price is listed as Rs 44,900 (£455, $732).

If you are a 'potential buyer' of Nexus 9, then you have plenty to cheer about, as the 32 GB tablet variant listed on Google Play is indicated as LTE-compliant, which means that you can look forward to superior 4G-LTE connectivity, after you purchase the tablet.

However, one downside is that there are not many 4G LTE wireless network providers in India right now. So, it becomes imperative for you to choose your network service provider judiciously.

The 16GB Nexus 9 variant (listed within Google Play Store) is indicated as Wi-Fi only, which means that you cannot expect 4G LTE connectivity within the tablet.

At this juncture, you could take a look at the Google Play listing of both the devices, as you have plenty of time to make an informed choice regarding which Nexus 9 variant to buy, and then purchase your device.

While buying Google's latest tablet, do keep in mind the fact that both the Nexus smartphone and tablet series are immensely popular in India, and are likely to get sold out within minutes, upon official release.

So, head to the Google Play app repository now, and check-out pre-bookings at the earliest.
