OnePlus is rolling out an update to the Oxygen OS for OnePlus X with version 2.1.2. This is the first software update after the phone went on sale recently in Europe, India and Hong Kong. Labelled as an incremental update, the release is available as an OTA and addresses some bugs, apart from enhancing the phone's performance.
- UX bug fixes in the Camera app
- Improvement to color offset in HDR mode
- Bug fixes to System Update to improve OTA stability
- System optimisations in low battery state
- General bug fixes and performance improvements
Meanwhile, users have been reporting about the issues with SD storage. Although OnePlus has already acknowledged the issue but this update does not contain the fix. But it says that another update will resolve those issues.
Note that the firmware update is not available for all users at the moment, as it is a phased roll-out. But download files for the OTA are available in case you want to perform a manual installation.
