Android 5.0 update for Xperia M4 Aqua
New Android Lollipop update rolling out to Xperia M4 Aqua and M4 Aqua Dual Sony

While Sony has already started Android Marshmallow treatment for its flagship Xperia smartphones, owners of mid-range handsets are in for some good news too. The Xperia M4 Aqua and its Dual SIM variants are now getting a new Android 5.0 Lollipop update.

According to official software support sites, the build version of the Lollipop firmware for the Xperia M4 Aqua is 26.1.A.3.111, whereas for the M4 Aqua Dual it is 26.1.B.3.109. Check out your phone's current build version from Settings>> About phone>> Build number/version. If it is not the latest one, go to Settings>> About phone>> Software update to manually grab the update. But note that you must have a stable Wi-Fi connection to install the update.
