Apple released iOS 7.1 beta with build number 11D5099e to developers for testing purposes on 18 November.

The second beta of iOS 7.1, bearing build version 11D5115D, was released on 13th of this month. The beta 2 integrates several changes and bug fixes. This includes Touch ID Passcode Settings in Setting menu, new toggle to switch to list view in Calendar app, removal of dark keyboard from beta 1 and several other features.

Now BGR, after speaking to a source it has not named, reports the iOS 7.1 beta 3 is rolling out to Apple testing partners. This beta adds a number of important bug fixes as well as new features. But the details about those features are not available at this moment. The source also noted that the iOS 7.1 beta 3 has not yet been released to the developer community.

According to the new disclosure, the public release of iOS 7.1 will be sometime in March next year. This is slightly late considering that the first beta of iOS 7.1 was released in November. And Apple usually releases an iOS update in January.

The delay in the iOS 7.1 public release is said to be due to the upcoming iOS in the Car feature. Apple unveiled the iOS in the Car feature in iOS 7 at this year's WWDC event. This feature will enable users to mirror their iOS devices to the car's built-in display. Besides, it will allow users to access Maps, messages and other services, notes iPhone hacks.

Apple has added a new toggle for the iOS in the Car feature, dubbed as Car Display, in the beta 1. This toggle can be found in the Restrictions page of Settings apps, and this suggests users will be able to enable or disable the feature.

Apart from this another matter of concern for the jailbreak community on the iOS 7.1 is if it patches the exploits used in the recently released untethered jailbreak, evasi0n7, compatible with all iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini running iOS 7 through iOS 7.0.4, by team evad3rs. Though the latest revelation on iOS 7.1 beat 3 does not say much about this some users have reported that they have successfully jailbroken their devices running iOS 7.1 beta 2 using evasi0n7.
