Arsenal have received a massive injury boost in the form of Lucas Perez and Francis Coquelin, with both players returning to full training ahead of their Premier League clash against Swansea City next weekend. The Frenchman was ruled out of their clash against Burnley with a knee injury while new signing Perez missed out with an inflammation on his knee.

Goal.com reports that both players have recovered from their setback and are in line to make the squad next weekend as the Gunners look to make it six wins on the bounce in the league. The north London club are currently third in the league, two points behind leaders Manchester City and have four back-to-back games at home in the league and other competitions.

Coquelin has a task at hands to get back into the starting eleven, with Granit Xhaka starting in their last two wins against Basel and Burnley. Meanwhile, Perez is yet to make a start after his brace against Nottingham Forest in the third round of the EFL Cup and is expected to be back in action when the Gunners host Reading in the next round.

Arsenal still have a few players out including Olivier Giroud, who has missed the last few games with a toe injury while Aaron Ramsey has not recovered from a hamstring injury he picked against Liverpool on the opening day of the season. The midfielder was rushed into the squad after the Euros and missed Wales' World Cup qualifier against Georgia, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, the Gunners remain without Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck, both of whom are out with long term injuries and will not be back before the end of the new year. The north London club have a host of options at the back with the arrival of Shkodran Mustafi, with Gabriel also capable of providing cover when required.
