Marvel Comics' 'Civil War' plotline, which pitted heroes against heroes, is set to find its way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to rumours, the plot will be set up in Avengers: Age of Ultron and will be passed onto the third Captain America movie, and will cause tension between Steve Rogers (Captain America) and Tony Stark (Iron Man).

'Civil War' Plotline

Comic Book Movie speculated on a theory that could place 'Civil War' in next marvel Venture.

According to the site, "many people believe that this is a sign that Cap will get killed off. I don't believe they're going to kill off the Steve Rogers character. Plus, making Bucky Cap and having him go against Thanos doesn't have the same weight to it."

"However, I believe Civil War can be done in shades. Hell, it doesn't even require its own film. You can take the basic concept of 'Civil War' and plant the seeds between Steve and Tony at the end of Age of Ultron, and have Cap in his third outing not only search for Bucky and finish off Hydra."

The website also added that the ending of Age of Ultron could lead to more superhero restriction activity due to chaos and destruction, as a plot for the third Avengers movie.

"The Tesseract can just as easily kill Red Skull, but also have to face the government as they put out the Superhero Registration Act due to the events of Age of Ultron. This would further make Cap a much more interesting character and put him in a tough position," the site speculated.

"It would also allow for villains like the Taskmaster to make an appearance. This would ultimately carry over as a subplot of Avengers 3 as superheroes duke it out. Particularly bringing Cap and Iron Man to blows finally. But ultimately they end up having to work together as they learn of a greater threat in Thanos."

Maybe a little far-sighted, but it is an interesting theory, and the storyline will make some major revelations within the Avengers squad.

James Spader as Ultron Robot

According to rumors, Avengers 2 will give attention to its big-bad villain Ultron.

James Spader on Friday night's Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, talked about Avengers: Age of Ultron and the big, bad Ultron robot.

"I'm Ultron, eight-foot robot," said Spader. "We finished the season of Blacklist, and two days later I got on a plane and flew to London to shoot the Avengers. And then right after that came back here to New York and flew immediately to Comic-Con."

He said, Comic-Con was just a 'foreplay' and continued, "Comic-Con it's all anticipation. They're not getting a performance in any way, shape or form. It's a tease, because it's all anticipatory. It's like foreplay for hours and days. It's three days of foreplay.

"But what you don't realize, it's not like at the end of the three days you get that, it's going to happen. They're anticipating an event that's not going to happen for six months or a year," he added.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled to be released in US movie theaters on 1 May, 2015.
