The much-awaited Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice first trailer might be released during the upcoming Super Bowl 2015 on 1 February.
While earlier rumours suggested that the film's trailer might come out along with the release of Warner Bros' upcoming film Jupiter Ascending, a recent report by Comicbook.com says that the chances of the trailer being unveiled during the Super Bowl are quite high.
The site notes that a Super Bowl ad for the Batman v Superman movie could be on the cards because "Warner Bros might just want to make a show of strength in the face of the Disney ads for Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man that will likely run during the Super Bowl." (via KDramaStars)
The website earlier speculated that the Batman v Superman trailer was going to be shown on the Jupiter Ascending premiere because "Warner Bros. has a lot invested in this film, and a Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer could provide a much-needed boost to its box office."
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is slated for release on 25 March, 2016 and stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman respectively.
