She may be trotting across the globe on her Mrs Carter World Tour, but no matter how busy she gets Beyoncé always finds time for her husband Jay Z.

The Drunk in Love songstress took a break from the Europe leg of her tour to enjoy a date with her beau at the historic Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam.

The music power couple soaked in some culture during their visit to the iconic landmark, dedicated to the holocaust heroine, with Queen B leaving a message in the guestbook.

According to the museum's facebook, the Carter's spent over an hour touring the museum and were "very impressed by their visit to the hiding place of Anne Frank".

A fan also took to Instagram to express her excitement after bumping into the pair as they left the building.

"Came to Anne Frank, saw these two too! #random #celeb," they captioned an image of Blue Ivy's parents.

While Beyoncé opted for a smart/causal look consisting of a blue jumpsuit, nude heels and bowler hat, her other half sported jeans, a grey t-shirt and black jacket.

Although it's not know what words of wisdom Beyoncé wrote in the guestbook, she would struggle to top Justin Bieber's controversial comments.

The popstar provoked outrage when he visited the Anne Frank Museum in 2013 and wrote the message: "Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber."
