Five people have been injured following a helicopter crash in East Yorkshire. The incident happened on the side of a runway at Breighton Aerodrome on 17 July.

One person was taken to Leeds General Hospital and another to the Hull Royal Infirmary via air ambulance. Others who were hurt were taken to hospital by ambulance.

In a statement, Humberside Police said injuries to the five people are "serious but not believed to be life threatening." It added: "Numerous emergency services were in attendance.

The Air Accident Investigation Branch will be leading the investigation to establish what caused the crash."
