Where to Watch Live

Play starts at 3:30pm BST. Live coverage will be available on Euro Sport 2 and Euro Sport 2 HD.

Overview

Chennai have qualified for the semi-finals but a loss here can see them go second in the group and thus face a comparatively difficult opposition in the knockouts than perceived. IPL's runner-ups have yet to lose a single game this season and are currently on 12 points, four points ahead of their nearest rivals. Mahendra Singh Dhoni's side has been an unbeatable force this season and will look to end the group with a flourish which shall give them some extra confidence going into the next round.

Michael Hussey and Suresh Raina have been their main players with the bat while Dhoni himself, after coming back from a break from international duty, has been able to steer his team in the right direction. So much has been the domination of the players in the top half, that the likes of Ravindra Jadeja and Albie Morkel have yet to get a proper look-in. Their bowling line-up also exudes confidence, with the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin and pacer Mohit Sharma capable of tearing apart any line-up on their day.

Trinidad come into the game with much more significance attached to it, where a win will see them surely qualify for the knockouts, but a loss will bring statistics into play. The side from Caribbean are currently level on points with the Titans, having beaten them in their last game. Trinidad, who were humiliated against Hyderabad came back into the reckoning with a six run win over the Titans in a game maligned by rain. Trinidad lead the run rate over the South African franchise by .2 points and if they fail to tame the group leaders, will be looking to curtail the margin of defeat.
