Certain that the dangerous prophecy is nearing fruition, Peter must race against the clock to unravel its mystery. From a remote farm in Norway, to an enigmatic compound in New Mexico, to the serpentine tunnels of Jerusalem, this immersive, fast-paced adventure will take viewers on a quest for a truth that will shake the world's beliefs to its very core.

Dig is shot in contemporary Jerusalem against the backdrop of historic sites like the Temple Mount, as well as in Croatia and New Mexico.

Isaacs gave a more detailed insight into the pilot episode's storyline and his character, to IGN. He explained that his character, FBI agent Peter Connelly has gone to Jerusalem to, "Lick his wounds and maybe try to rebuild his life. He's left behind a life in tatters in Washington. He meets a young woman that, just for a second, wakes him up out of his stupor and the next morning she's dead.

He doesn't tell his boss that he was with her the night before because he wants to investigate the murder and feels maybe he's responsible in some way and wants to find out what's going on. From then on, amazing complications ensue because it becomes clear it's not just a murder; there are a whole bunch of things going on."

"It's a very human story, played out against the backdrop of this epic, global struggle," the actor added.

Dig premieres this Thursday, 5 March on the USA Network at 10pm ET/9pm CT.
