Overview

The first match between the two sides at Bristol was called off due to bad weather. The match was abandoned even without a ball being bowled. India started the trip to England on a bright note after winning the second Test to take a 1-0 lead after the end of the two Tests.

However, after that the scene was bleak for the visitors as MS Dhoni saw his side suffer three consecutive defeats in the longer format of the game. The final two Tests ended in an embarrassing fashion for India as the game ended in less than three days.

In addition to this, India suffered an innings defeat during the fourth and fifth Tests. The ODI world champions would be hoping to bounce back in the 50-over format and they have only four matches to do so to win this ODI series.

Dhoni will be able to call upon Suresh Raina for the ODI's. However, the left-handed batsman has struggled on short pitch deliveries and all eyes will be on India's top order batsmen.

Meanwhile, English bowlers will have the task of replicating their Test form in the One Day Internationals in order to seal another series victory over the sub-continent nation.

Betting Odds (Bwin)
