European stocks rebounded Monday as investors bet the new stimulus measures from the Bank of Japan will lift global asset prices but gains were limited after a decision late Friday by Portugal's Constitutional Court which has raised serious doubts about the ability of Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho to maintain his country's fragile €78bn bailout.
