To fetch the update manually, navigate to Settings>> About phone>> Software update>> Check now. It might not be available for all users at the moment.

Recognised XDA developer, LlabTooFeR, has also confirmed the roll-out via Twitter.

The software update comes after HTC released Android 4.4.3 with build number 2.22.401.4 for the One M8 last month. As confirmed by Mo Versi, vice president and product management at HTC, the Android 4.4.3 incorporates all the security fixes from Android 4.4.4.

Mo Versi has also mentioned that HTC One M7 will not get Android 4.4.3; instead, it will be directly upgraded to Android L.

Meanwhile, HTC has begun seeding Android 4.4.3 firmware with build number 2.10.720.1 for One M8 users in India.

The 2.10.720.1 build adds improvements to OpenSSL security and support for 4G LTE along with several other performance improvements, bug fixes and application updates.
