Michela Roth: Italian Parents Protests at 'Golden Bum' Sexy Teacher

Angry parents have pulled their children out of an Italian nursery school to protest against a teacher who poses for glamour calendar and is considered too sexy to teach.

US-born Michela Roth, 38, has lived in Italy for more than ten years and during the summer holidays often poses with sexy underwear for calendars.

She also won several beauty contests in Italy like Miss Golden Bum and Miss Italian Mum. But when news leaked that Roth stripped for a Harley Davidson calendar, some parents in Castello di Serravalle, near Bologna, thought it was too much and withdrew their children from the nursery school.

Roth hit back at the parents saying they are jealous and narrow-minded.

"'For me being a model is my second job," she said, according to The Daily Telegraph. "I do shoots when school is over and especially in the holidays when I am back in the United States. I am always dressed in the pictures and never naked."

Roth admits she could have been a model, but loves being a teacher. "I think there is a little bit of envy going on here and it has gone over the top," she said.

"You just have to ask anyone at the school who will tell you that I am a complete professional when it comes to being a teacher and a model," she added.

A local newspaper, Il Resto del Carlino, ran an online poll which resulted in 82 per cent of readers supporting the teacher and only 14 per cent against her.
