She is a reality TV star, book author, recently launched her own fashion line and now Kylie Jenner is venturing into music.
According to celebrity news site Radar Online, Kim Kardashian's half-sister believes she has what it takes to become the next Katy Perry.
The Keeping up with the Kardashians star is already in the recording studio and has even enlisted the help of a vocal coach to make her dream a reality.
"Kylie is now working on her first single! She is telling everyone that she knows she is going to be the next Katy Perry," a source told Radar Online.
The 17-year-old, who is rumoured to be dating After Earth actor Jaden Smith, is reportedly working with Tim Carter, the producer who created Willow Smith's hit Whip My Hair.
Jenner also hopes that her brother-in-law Kanye West will help her carve out a successful singing career that will finally set her apart from her sister Kendall.
"Kylie has a great voice," the source added. "She realised that she can't compete with Kendall [Jenner] when it comes to modelling. So she has chosen to turn to music.
"The whole family is really supportive of the decision, and Tim has already been to Kris' house to start the lessons".
