London Mayor Boris Johnson, widely regarded as a potential challenger to Prime Minister David Cameron, said on Wednesday (August 6) he would try to run for parliament in next year's national election.
Johnson's admission came during a speech in which the London mayor called for reform of the European Union and backed a report by his economic adviser that says leaving the EU is a "viable option" for Britain if it cannot change.
