Chinese smartphone brand Meizu recently announced its intention to go global by opening up international pre-orders for its flagship MX4 smartphone to take on major companies such as Samsung and Apple.

Going by Bai Yongxiang's (CEO and President of Meizu) recent statement that his company received 7.7 million pre-orders for the MX4, the brand looks capable of following in Xiaomi's footsteps with regard to overthrowing major international smartphone brands in various parts of the world.

Now, another of Meizu's apparent flagship device, the MX4 Pro has just had its technical aspects put through benchmarks by GFXBench. The benchmark tests reveal some information regarding the key technical specifications of the Meizu MX4 smartphone.

According to a report in Gadgetzarena that quotes a GFXBench benchmark test report, people waiting to buy the Meizu MX4 Pro can expect the smartphone with the following key hardware aspects:

  • 5.5in touchscreen display, with 5-finger gesture support
  • Android 4.4.4 Kitkat operating system; out of the box
  • An octa core CPU clocked at 2GHz, built within a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa SoC
  • 2.8GB RAM
  • 12GB internal storage
  • 19 MP rear camera, and a 4.8MP front snapper
  • Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and microUSB connectivity

However, from the surfaced benchmark tests, the technical aspects of the battery that drives the Meizu MX4 are not clear.

Looking at the above tech specs, it is clear that the smartphone will be a high-ender. So, expect a relatively high price tag for the Meizu MX4 Pro.
