Former soap star Michelle Keegan has revealed that she would consider stripping down to her birthday suit for a role in Game of Thrones.
The 27-year-old actress, best known for playing Tina McIntyre on Coronation Street, said that while some viewers had a problem with the amount of nudity on the hit HBO show, she didn't mind getting naked on screen.
"I'm a huge Game Of Thrones fan. I'd obviously love a role in that," she told the Daily Star during a recent interview. "I would consider getting naked and having sex scenes if the role was right."
The news will be music to some people's eyes after the beauty was crowned Sexiest Soap Star for the sixth year running at The British Soap Awards.
Meanwhile Keegan admitted that it was 'nerve-racking' auctioning for roles again after working on the ITV soap for over six years. Her character was killed by Rob Donovan (played by Marc Baylis) earlier this month.
She said: "I'm auditioning again now. It's nerve-racking but I'm getting more excited than anything. I'm getting a buzz from being out there again. It's exciting times for me at the minute."
"I'm currently busy having elocution lessons and acting lessons and want to be taken seriously as an actress."
Game of Thrones season 5 will premiere on HBO during Spring next year.
Other British soap stars to appear on the show includes former Hollyoaks actresses Roxanne McKee and Nathalie Emmanuel.
