Defending champion Marc Marquez sealed his fifth pole of the season for the 2014 French Grand Prix as the Honda rider will start Sunday's race at the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans from the first spot.

Qualifying Review

Marquez continued his dominance in this season's MotoGP by setting a fastest lap at Le Mans by clocking a time of 1:32.042s. He was 0.692s ahead of rookie Pol Espargaro on his Tech 3 bike. The latter's time of 1:32.734s was his best ever MotoGP Grid result to date.

The Honda rider, along with his compatriot Espargaro and Ductai rider Andrea Dovizioso lock horns for the front row on the French MotoGP Grand Prix. LCR rider Stefan Bradl was fourth.

Meanwhile, Yamaha duo Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo will start Sunday's race from the fifth and sixth spots respectively. Honda rider Dani Pedrosa dropped lower down the order as he was ninth, clocking a time of 1:33.023s.
