Nokia's flagship smartphone, Lumia 930, powered by Windows Phone 8.1 will become available on 9 June.

During the announcement Nokia confirmed that the Lumia 930 will be available from June, beginning in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America and continue to roll out to other regions across the globe throughout the summer.

A Redditor who reached out to O2 UK in order to know the definite release date for the Lumia 930 has been informed by their upgrade team that the network operator is planning to release the handset on 9 June. Below is the Reddit post for the estimated release date of Lumia 930.

After failing to find a solid release date for the 930, I rang up o2 on the off chance that they might be able to give me one. I was told by their upgrade team that (providing all their testing goes well) they plan to release it on the 9th of June!

Online retailer, Unlocked Mobiles is now taking pre-orders for the Lumia 930 at a suggested retail price of £524.98. As the product page notes, the stocks are expected in the first week of July. Prospective buyers may head over to the product page to place their pre-order for Lumia 930.

The Lumia 930 is also up for pre-order at Amazon France and Amazon Germany.

Nokia's high-end Lumia 930 features a 5in full HD display with resolution at 1920 x 1080 pixels. It uses a Snapdragon 800 chip featuring a quad-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, while paired with a 2GB RAM.

It has a 20 megapixel PureView camera and a front camera of 1.2 megapixel. The handset uses a 2,420mAh battery inside.
