12:15 pm Spokesmen and women began to emerge from the crowd, their messages reflecting the diversity of the protesters themselves, discussing a various topics, ranging from military action in Lybia to inequality in UK. The only common feature of each speaker's thoughts was the common motto "we are the 99 per cent!"

12:30 pm The protesters began to move towards their intended camp site. Police, previously unseen at the start of protest unload from vans surrounding St.Paul’s, following closely behind the protesters.

12:35 pm As protesters turn the corner back to the original square, routes previously open have been cordoned off by police. Mounted officers stand behind a line of police blocking the protesters' path to the square. Tensions mount as a number of protesters use megaphones to verbally berate the officers. "Get that animal off that horse" shouted one protesters. "Bloody fascist pigs, you're whats wrong with the country" followed another.

12:45 pm A team of student protesters holding a banner take to the front of the crowd screaming "follow us." The team lead the crowd down a side street only to find it too was being blocked by police.

British police last night searched the Occupy the London Stock Exchange camp site after an "anonymous tip" reported seeing a fire-arm in one of the tents. Following their failed attempt to take the square, the protesters returned to St. Paul’s steps. At the time this article was written the protesters had begun mounting tents outside St. Paul’s.
