Samsung will live stream video from both of its IFA press events on 3 September Reuters

Samsung is to host two press conferences at the IFA technology trade show in Berlin on 3 September. The company will be live streaming both online as they happen, and although plans for the first remain under wraps, the second is where we will see the Gear S2 smartwatch in the flesh for the first time.

IFA is often used by Samsung to announce its latest Note smartphone, but instead that event took place in New York two weeks earlier, leaving IFA to host the company's latest smartwatch, the Gear S2. We also expect to see some new televisions and household products - ovens and washing machines, try not to switch off...

The first press conference takes starts at midday local time (1pm BST) and is expected to last for around one hour. The second event, which will see the launch of the Gear S2, starts at 7pm local time (8pm BST) and is also expected to last for between 60 and 90 minutes. This will be followed by hands-on time with whatever is announced.

Both conferences will be live streamed on Samsung's YouTube channel, as well as on the company's own website.

IBTimes UK will be attending both events and will bring you the news and our hands-on first impressions as soon as we can.
