Last November, Sony had promised that Xperia T, Xperia TX, Xperia V and Xperia SP would be upgraded to Android 4.3, but failed to give the roll-out time-frame.

Now, the company has confirmed on Twitter that the upgrade for these devices is in the final stage. The company will start rolling out the software update from the end of January to early February.

Like always, the software roll-out will be a phased process. The timing and availability will vary according to the market and carrier networks.

"We hear you re: JB 4.3 for Xperia T, TX, V, SP – we're making final preps and will start rolling from end Jan/early Feb," Sony tweeted.

According to speculation, the roll-out is expected soon, considering the firmware leaks in the recent past.

Recently an Android 4.3 firmware with build number 9.2.A.1.131 was leaked for the Xperia TX with model number LT29i. Following this, Android 4.3 firmware with similar build version was leaked for the Xperia V bearing model number LT25i.

The EXR team XDA managed to get the leaked firmware versions for both Xperia TX and Xperia V. Besides, the team has released EXR ROMs for these devices based on the leak firmware.
