CBS's new series Supergirl is planning to introduce Kara's famous cousin Superman. The Man of Steel has showed up several times in the past to help Kara but fans are yet to get a proper look at Superman.

According to a TV Line report, the show is seeking a 13-year-old actor with "future leading man looks" to play the recurring role of Kal-El, aka Superman. The young superhero will first appear in the pilot season's 13th episode in a string of flashbacks that will establish the cherished bond between him and Kara.

Supergirl's plan to establish herself as a superhero in National City will hit a major glitch in episode 6, titled Red Faced. Managing life as a superhero gets the better of Kara and she will lash out at her boss. She will also go too far during a training exercise with a military cyborg.

According to the official synopsis, "Personal and professional stress get the better of Kara when she goes too far during a training exercise against Red Tornado, a military cyborg commissioned by Lucy Lane's father, General Sam Lane."

In the same episode, Cat's tough exterior is shaken by a visit from her judgmental mother Katherine, and Alex enlists Winn to look into her father's mysterious death.

A new promo shows General Sam Lane explain to DEO and Supergirl about the new cyborg the military has built. The general says: "We have been developing a combat device." As we see a man trying to control the cyborg, he says: "It's not responding to my command." Alex tells Kara that the cyborg has gone rogue and Supergirl flies to save the city from it.

The promo also shows Cat taunting Kara as she hits back at her boss and says: "Don't talk to me like that!" Supergirl season 1 episode 6 airs on 30 November at 8pm EST on CBS Network.
