Supernatural Season 10 returns with its second episode today, Tuesday, 14th October at 9 pm ET.

The episode is titled Reichenbach, and the episode will introduce us to a darker side of Demon-Dean.

The official synopsis reads:

"Crowley (Mark Sheppard) notices Dean (Jensen Ackles) is becoming more and more aggressive. Dean tells him that's the side effect of being a demon, but Crowley knows it's something more — the Mark of Cain needs to be fed. Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki) is captured by Cole (guest star Travis Aaron Wade), an angry man who blames Dean for his father's death years ago and wants revenge. Cole tortures Sam, hoping he'll tell him where Dean is hiding. Hannah (guest star Erica Carroll) sees how weak Castiel (Misha Collins) is becoming as his grace continues to fade, so she makes a bold choice and asks Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) for help."

Dean and Crowley in Supernatural The CW

Supernatural Season 10 premiere introduced viewers to Demon Dean (Jensen Ackles) on the road with his new 'friend' Crowley (Mark Sheppard), the king of hell.

The premiere episode ended with Dean (Jensen Ackles) abandoning his brother Sam (Jared Padalecki) in Cole's (Travis Aaron Wade) dungeon. Cole is very angry with Dean and seeks revenge. He is using Sam as leverage, and even threatens to slit Sam's throat just to get to Dean.

But even with the threats, Demon Dean looked unmoved as he left Sam in the dungeon to be tortured.

"I told him to let me go, so any jam he's in now, that is his problem... He knows damn sure that if I am one thing, I am a man of my word," Dean said.

Will Dean save Sam?

Jensen Ackles, who plays Dean, shared his thought on his character, and teased that there are traces of humanity left in him.

He told Entertainment Weekly: "It's kind of a demon on steroids. It's like a super demon. I think that he doesn't necessarily know how to control it as a human, and he doesn't even know how to control it as a demon, and that will continue to be a problem as the season goes forward."

He continued, "It's interesting because it's actual Dean's twisted soul, not a demon that has possessed Dean's body. [So] there are those traces of Dean that are still left in this version."
