Three people are believed to have died following the fire Twitter

Three bodies have been found at a house in Leeds today, West Yorkshire Police have confirmed, following what they describe as a "small fire" believed to have started early on Saturday morning.

Two women and a man were found dead at the property, which is in the central area of East End Park. Officers were called to the house at around midday on Easter Sunday, after "a call raising concerns for the occupants of an address". Fire and ambulance crews were also called.

In a statement, acting detective inspector Mark Atkinson said: "Our enquiries are at a very early stage and we are currently trying to establish the full circumstances surrounding the deaths.

"Initial indications show there has been a small fire at the premises. Forensic post-mortems will be held to establish how the three people found inside the property have died. We believe the deaths are likely to have occurred in the early hours of Saturday and we would like to hear from anyone who has seen the occupants of the address on Friday."
