KEY POINTS

  • Jones has seen 10 possible members of his squad ruled out with injury.
  • England begin their series against South Africa on 12 November.

England coach Eddie Jones has named six uncapped players in his 33-man squad for the upcoming autumn internationals.

Jones' options have been decimated by injury ahead of Tests against South Africa, Fiji, Argentina and Australia with 10 players unavailable. Alex Lozowski and Mike Haley of Sale Sharks and Saracens respectively come in, with Ben Te'o of Worcester Warriors also included.

Harlequins' tight-head prop Kyle Sinckler, Wasps back-row forward Nathan Hughes and Bath second row Charlie Ewels also come in and are in line for their first international caps.

Elsewhere, Tom Wood has received his first call-up since Jones took the England job to help resolve the injury crisis in the back-row. James Haskell, Maro Itoje, Anthony Watson and Mike Williams are among a host of players not considered for selection due to injury.

England are unbeaten under Jones, having won their last nine matches in a row. They begin their series against South Africa on 12 November.
