Overview

Tottenham come into this fixture after avoiding a defeat against West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns last Saturday. The hosts raced into a shock 3-0 lead amid which Emmanuel Adebayor's penalty was saved by Ben Foster.

The visitors had a lifeline when Jonas Olsson deflected Aaron Lennon's cross past his own goal keeper. Harry Kane then scored with his head to make it 3-2 in the second half. West Brom failed to hold back Spurs' blitzkrieg and Christian Eriksen netted the equaliser late in injury time.

Tottenham's hopes of finishing fourth playing in the Champions League next season is out of their hands. Tim Sherwood's side sit sixth in the table with 60 points after playing 34 matches, seven points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Fulham are striving hard to avoid relegation into the Championship and registered a 1-0 victory against fellow strugglers Norwich City in their previous fixture at the Craven Cottage.

Hugo Rodallega scored the game's solitary in the first half was enough for the Cottagers to secure three precious points.

Felix Magath's side are currently 18th in the league table with 30 points from 34 matches. They must secure as many points as they can from their remaining four matches to try and prevent the drop this season.

What Managers Say

Tim Sherwood: "They're fighting for their lives and we know it will be difficult. But as I keep saying, our need is as great as theirs. There are no easy games but it's always been the aim to just get as many points as we can and finish up as high as we possibly can, so we'll continue in that vein on Saturday."

Felix Magath: "We have to take care in the next games and we have to take care about the next opponent, and this is Tottenham. Everybody knows our situation and everybody knows that every game is important. We need the next three points at the weekend to stay in the league, to avoid relegation, so we are used to this situation and I think we can manage it."
