A still from the CCTV shows the victim being dispossessed of Rolex timepiece Met Police

The Met Police has released CCTV footage showing two men rob a man of his £10,000 gold Rolex watch as he sat having a cigarette outside a luxury hotel in Kensington, west London. The clip shows two men playfully shake hands with the victim before one of them hugs him as the other slips the watch of the victim's left wrist at the Beaufort Hotel in Beaufort Gardens.

Following the attack, which happened on 29 December 2015 at around 10pm, the suspects fled the scene heading towards Brompton Road. Only later when the man looked at his wrist did he realise his watch had vanished. No arrests have been made and detectives are appealing for information.

One of the suspects is described as a slim white man, in his mid-20s, with short dark hair. He was wearing a red body warmer over a grey tracksuit and black trainers. The other is described as a slim white man, with a thin beard, in his mid-20s. He was wearing a white cap with a black peak, a green bomber jacket, dark trousers and white trainers.
