It has been a busy week for Microsoft, as it launched the long awaited Windows 10 operating system, available as a free software upgrade for compatible Windows versions such as Windows 7, 8 and 8.1.
While there is much talk about the Windows 10 PC version, users could be waiting to hear something about the mobile version as well.
The good news is that the company has pushed out a small update to those who are running the Windows 10 Mobile preview. As the release note reads, the update brings some 'developer enhancements', reports Windows Central.
It does not bring any new build and is based on the same build, along with the improvements. If your device is on the Windows 10 Mobile preview, you may check for the new update. You can install it now or, re-schedule to a more convenient time accordingly.
This release also goes well with Microsoft's announcement in June about the improvements for Windows 10 Mobile.
Greg Sullivan, the communication director for Microsoft device, had explained that the company's development teams were all working on the Windows 10 then and that they could be more easily reallocated to add features or squash bugs in the mobile version.
He said: "In early to mid July a lot more attention will be shifted from (Windows 10 PC) to that (Windows 10 Mobile)."
