Sony has pushed out a new firmware with build version 32.2.A.0.224 for its Xperia Z5 series including the Z5 Dual and Z5 Compact. It is also expected to hit the Premium model of the Z5. This is the first release after Sony made Android 6.0.1 update (with version 32.1.A.1.185 available in April.

The update brings back the Battery Stamina mode, which reduces battery consumption when activated. In addition, the background data is restricted. It is important to note that the Android power-saving feature is active when the Stamina mode is not activated.
