Apple's upcoming large screen smartphone featuring the 5.5in screen will be released in December, suggests a new disclosure.

The mass production of the 4.7in iPhone 6 has already started. The larger screen variant of iPhone 6, the next iPad mini and iPad Air 2 (iPad Air 2014) will reportedly enter mass production in September.

Now Weibo, a Chinese microblogging site via Gforgames reports that the 4.7in iPhone 6 has entered mass production in June, whereas the 5.5in iPhone 6 will go for mass production in September.

While the September mass production schedule for 5.5in iPhone 6 has leaked in previous reports as well, what is interesting in the new leak is that it reveals the release timing, which will be in December.

The revelation further suggests that Apple's highly anticipated iWatch will be released alongside the 5.5in iPhone 6 in December.

According to KGI Securities analyst, Ming Chi Kuo, the mass production for iWatch was scheduled for late September but it is delayed until November, due to the difficulties associated with the project.

"We believe developing the hardware and OS of iWatch will be much more difficult task than for Apple's existing products," said Kuo.

Kuo believes that iWatch uses several new technologies in terms of hardware such as a flexible AMOLED screen, sapphire crystal covering and higher waterproof standards when compared to other Apple products.
