Adele's long-awaited single Hello finally came out today (23 October), and it's safe to say everyone immediately lost control of their tear ducts as soon as the opening bars started playing. The track made its radio debut on Nick Grimshaw's Radio 1 Breakfast Show this morning, with the video dropping on Vevo shortly after and fans in their droves took to social media to voice their opinions on both the new song and the footage that went with it.

Fans went into a frenzy sharing the video, writing that the song was "stunning", "spectacular" and even gave them chills. Many social media users admitted that they cried when they listened to it. A lot of listeners "welcomed" Adele back after her long break from music and others voiced that they already had her pipped to clean up at upcoming award ceremonies, such as the Grammy's.

But it wasn't just the public that reacted to the new song, celebrities also shared what they thought of the track. Robbie Williams hailed the 27-year-old singer "a boss" as he passed on the song to his followers, whilst Paloma Faith expressed that the long wait for Adele's next track was "worth the wait." The Picking Up The Pieces hitmaker added: "And oh my god, how beautiful you are."

Former X-Factor contestant Luke Friend also tweeted a personal message to Adele, saying: "You did it again my love, Phenomenal" and Fearne Cotton simply called her "the voice of the century".

Finally, it wasn't just famous faces from this side of the Atlantic that were sharing the love for Hello this morning, Katy Perry even tweeted a humorous photograph, suggesting that she cried into a pillow as she listened to the new song. Adele should be confident that this song will be a hit.
