Alexis Sanchez has opened up over his move to Arsenal and revealed that he is happy at the north London club.

The Chilean international joined the Gunners from Barcelona in a reported £32m deal, and has proved to be an instant hit in the Premier League.

The former Udinese forward has at times during the season single-handedly won games for Arsenal, and has stated that he is enjoying his time in London playing in a league that he loves.

Sanchez, who was strongly linked with a move to Liverpool following Luis Suarez's transfer to the Catalan club, revealed that he made a decision that he thought was the best for him.

"When you take the decision, you have to convince yourself that it's the best choice," Sanchez said, as quoted by the Mirror.

"It's impossible to know what would have happened if you had made another decision. So far, I am happy at Arsenal."

"I have arrived in a league that I love, my club is fantastic with great teammates, a world-renowned coach who really cares about his players... everyone is great! And I've recently begun exploring the city more, which is very beautiful and I am enjoying it a lot," the Chilean international explained.

The former Barcelona player, does not agree when called the star player of the Arsenal team, as he believes he is just another player, who is part of the group that has other world-class players.

The 26-year-old forward acknowledges his flying start to his first season with Arsenal, but has warned people about jumping to conclusions to hold off till the end of the campaign.

"Being 'the star' is all relative, I don't agree [that I am]."

"We have a squad with lots of great players, world class ones, World Cup winners with Germany and other players who play for England or France," the Gunners forward added.

"In this group I'm just another player. I've been lucky to start well but you don't give the book a title until you've finished writing it," Sanchez concluded.
