The 43rd annual American Music Awards will take place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California on 22 November. The ceremony, which will be hosted by Jennifer Lopez can be watched live at 8 pm EST on ABC in the US.

The complete event can be viewed live online on ABC's official website and TheAMAs.com. More of pre-show fun, including the Coca-Cola Red Carpet LIVE! @ The 2015 AMAs will stream online for fans worldwide starting at 5:00pm ET on Yahoo.

Taylor Swift is the most nominated artist at the event, and is up for six categories, including artist of the year. Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd have five nods each, while Sam Smith, Nicki Minaj and Meghan Trainor have four nominations each. Adding on, one can expect performances from Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Coldplay, 5 Seconds of Summer, Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, One Direction, Demi Lovato, Carrie Underwood and Walk the Moon.

Celine Dion will perform a special rendition of Edith Piaf's Hymne à L'Amour at the event as tribute to the victims of terror attacks in Paris. AMA producer Larry Klein said in a statement: "We felt it was important to show our solidarity in light of the recent events in Paris and all around the world. Celine's performance will help us express our feelings through song, when words do not suffice."
