Arsenal are reportedly ready to launch a double bid for Barcelona pair Alexis Sanchez and Pedro this summer – as both players are considering their future following a disappointing campaign at the Nou Camp.

Even though the Catalan club may win La Liga title this season should they beat Atletico Madrid on Saturday the club are preparing a huge clear-out to re-established their predominance in Europe.

Celta de Vigo manager Luis Enrique is expected to replace Gerardo Martino while a number of current members of the squad will be sacrificed to fund moves for new additions – as the club already did when Pep Guardiola arrived to Barcelona by selling stars such as Ronaldino or Deco.

And with Lionel Messi and Neymar immovable up-front, Pedro and Alexis Sanchez may leave the team in the summer – as they are looking for a new number nine to complete the attacking trio.

Daily Mail report that Arsene Wenger is monitoring the situation, and will consider making a bid should Barcelona make the duo available for the right price.

Pedro has been a key player in Barcelona's and Spain's recent success but despite Neymar's arrival he has started 27 La Liga games and scored 15 goals.

Meanwhile, Sanchez has started 26 La Liga games scoring 18 goals but his talent has been under constantly scrutiny since his arrival to the Nou Camp, with supporters and pundits questioning his £33m valuation.

Recent reports in Italy suggest that he is close to completing a move to Juventus for around £20m but Daily Mail claims that Arsenal are also monitoring the situation.

The Chilean showed his class in England last November, scoring a double to help Chile beat Roy Hogson's side but has failed to be a favourite in La Liga.
