The Iranian ambassador to the UK has been summoned by the British government after Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei blamed Zionists, Americans and the British for the current political turmoil in Iran.

In his speech given at Friday Prayers Khamenei said, "The enemies are trying through the media - which is controlled by dirty Zionists."
"The Zionist, American and British radio are all trying to say that there was a competition between those who support and those who didn't support the state."
