A 72-year-old man from Nepal claims to be the shortest man in the world!

To confirm the claim, officials from the Guinness World Records organisations will arrive in Nepal this weekend, to measure Chandra Bahadur Dangi, who says he is only 22 inches (56 centimeters) tall.

Dangi is hoping to snatch the title of the "World's Shortest Man" from Junrey Balawing of the Philippines, who is 23.5 inches (60 centimeters) tall.

The Guinness World Records organisation said, in an e-mail on Wednesday, they would arrive in the nation's capital - Kathmandu - on Sunday, Dangi, meanwhile, who is from Western Nepal, flew in to the city on Wednesday.
