La Liga champions Atletico Madrid have become the latest football team to sign a sponsorship deal with Chinese telecoms firm Huawei.
The Spanish team join the likes of Arsenal, PSG, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke 04, Ajax and Galatasaray in becoming affiliated with the mobile phone manufacturer.
The Huawei logo will appear on Atletico Madrid's shirts as part of the two year deal, with the companies set to engage "in many promotional activities and communications".
Without giving any of the financial details away, a statement from Enrique Cerezo, chairman of the Spanish capital club, read: "Our relationship with Huawei reinforces without a doubt our strategy to grow hand in hand with large companies, and who better to link with than the telecommunications leader of the world."
The agreement will also help Atletico build on their presence in Huawei's homeland, where the club already has a talent development partnership in place with Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua.
